Drums provide the passion and the power below any good rock band. As someone who is not a drummer, it seems that they have taken a decidedly retro path. Back in the day, every drummer seemed to want more kit pieces. Crazy toms and gongs, cymbals everywhere, and you name it. A quarter century later, we seem to have gone back to the basics. Of course, you can never have too much cow bell. Am I wrong?
