Back in the day, I thought about delays and reverbs as primarily vocal effects on the main mixing board. But delay in particular is a critical piece of many guitarists pedal boards. MXR’s Carbon Copy is a classic analog delay that lots of guys use and love. I like it too, but digital delays have really come a long way. Don’t reject them out of hand.
