A chorus pedal clones the incoming signal and creates a slight delay, but one that is longer than a flanging effect. Choruses may also incorporate more than two signals. The effect is generally more subtle, and less exotic, than phasing or flanging, typically displaying a ringing choir-like sound. My bandmate likes to use his chorus pedal on the Pretenders Back on the Chain Gang and Nirvana made good use of one on Come as You Are.
